Kirtland 2014


June 3-4 2014:  Most of the Ohio Cincinnati Mission senior missionaries visited Kirtland (a little over 4 hours from Cincinnati)

The Johnson farm at Hiram, Ohio about 30 mile south of Kirtland.  Joseph and Emma came here from the Morley farm in Sept 1831 and left in Sept 1832. Joseph was tarred and feathered here and one of the adopted twins died of exposure.

 Shortly after arriving in Ohio, Joseph and Emma stayed at the Morley farm (Mar - Sept 1831).  Emma gave birth to twins who died.
D&C 45-50. 52-56, 63-64 were revealed here. 













The first high priests in the Church were ordained here.  Profound spiritual manifestations occurred.
